Put your walking shoes on and head out to Historic Roswell this Saturday for “A Taste of Roswell”, from noon to 5:30 p.m. at the historic town square (617 Atlanta St), some of Roswell’s most outstanding restaurants will be serving up their finest dishes. Admission to the event is free and food tickets are 50¢ each. This family-friendly event will feature music from 106.7, a hula hoop contest, The Twist dance contest, a bean bag toss, and more. One of Flavors’ Own Kiddos Competes for Atlanta’s Top Chef Kids Competition

Taste of Atlanta is a 2-day festival at Technology Square that attracts food lovers from throughout Atlanta, the Southeast and beyond to enjoy tastes from more than 80 restaurants from all over the Atlanta Metropolitan area.  Guests can sample delicious dishes, sip robust wines and beers, be entertained by demos from local and celebrity chefs, and enjoy interactive sponsor experiences and family-friendly entertainment, while uncovering the incredible dining treasures the city has to offer.

 Flavors’ food editor, Shelley Sawyer and her son, Samuel, will be participating in the Taste of Atlanta’s Top Chef Kids Cooking Competition on Saturday, October 22 at 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on the Family Food Zone Cooking Stage. There will be 3 kids + chef/parents competing. A secret ingredient will be given out this Friday. Come and cheer them on!
