Mary Moore, David DiCorpo and Matt South will be your hosts for the Grand Opening Celebration of the The Cook’s Warehouse East Cobb store. Chef Sonya Jones will be autographing her new book Sweet Auburn Desserts: Atlanta’s Little Bakery That Could (Pelican Publishing Company, 2011) and will present samples from the book to taste. The opening party will also feature demonstrations in the teaching kitchen, fantastic specials and fund-raising giveaways. The store is located at 1311 Johnson Ferry Road in Marietta.

High Arts Day

 HighArtsDay returns on November 14, featuring events in Midtown and Buckhead. Beginning with refreshments and private shopping at Saks Fifth Avenue, the day concludes with a private viewing of the High’s “Picasso to Warhol” exhibition. Children’s Gingerbread House Decorating Class

Davios’ Executive Pastry Chef Kathleen Miliotis is offering a Gingerbread House Decorating Class for children of all ages. Homemade gingerbread pieces, frostings and candies will be provided to make one-of-a-kind gingerbread houses to share with family and friends for the holiday season.
